For an ongoing project interviewing my 85-year-old father about growing up in India. Speaker diarization with known-speaker references (so the transcript says “Dad” and “Jay” instead of “Speaker 1” and “Speaker 2”), provider routing across multiple transcription services, chunking for long recordings, and an LLM cleanup pass that fixes punctuation, removes filler words, and standardizes proper nouns against a lexicon of known entities (Bombay, monsoon, kulfi, babuji, Air India, Kashmir Princess).

Rebuilds when I save a new article, deduplicates, filters to AI-related reading only, and lets visitors narrow further by topic (agents, reasoning, coding) or publication (NYT, Wired, Atlantic).

A browsable library of academic research on AI, education, creativity, and cognition — neuroscience studies on how ChatGPT affects essay writing (with EEG data), surveys on AI’s impact on critical thinking, Google’s chain-of-thought paper. Each entry has a structured summary (why it matters, design, findings, limitations) plus evidence-quality badges (meta-analysis, RCT, observational, preprint). 29 topic tags and a “cited in” trail showing where each paper appears elsewhere on the site.

Editorial pages built around Richard Feynman’s concept of “open questions.” I take the AI articles I save to Readwise and reorganize the reading corpus around the unresolved debates in the field, so each page pairs a live question with the strongest pieces arguing each side.

A coordination hub for the crew I go to Sundance with each year — writers, photographers, filmmakers, friends, and fellow Wikipedia volunteers. I built an app with a schedule of movies, talks, and panels; a face gallery directory of attendees with profile pics and bios; housing logistics tracking who’s staying in which house on which day.

A travel tracker I built for a three-month volunteering trip photographing film festivals in Edinburgh, Switzerland, Milan, Toronto, and South Korea for Wikipedia. A timeline that knows where I am based on today’s date, with transit paths between cities and a mini calendar, so friends could follow along.

A portfolio site for my red-carpet work for Wikipedia — Sundance, SXSW, TIFF, and the Nobel Prizes. Masonry galleries, a lightbox viewer, pages that surface each photo’s camera settings (lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO), and a likes system.
